How is Haven different than a normal pole/dance studio?
Unlike a typical pole or dance studio, Haven does not offer regularly scheduled classes. You simply rent out time to use the space at your own desire. If you’re an instructor who teaches classes or privates, this means a lot more money in your pocket, a customized schedule and greater creative freedom.
Our rental model also means we operate on a strict pay-to-use system. You pay for any time you’re physically in the space, whether you’re dancing, stretching, or just chilling and waiting for friends; it’s that simple! You can always book additional time during your session if there’s availability.
How do I book time?
All pole reservations must be made online. Streamlining our reservation system helps us keep track of our client activity as efficiently as possible, so that we can focus on continually improving your experience at Haven! For all other types of non-pole uses, please contact us to reserve a time.
What’s your cancellation policy?
All pole rentals booked online are fully refundable if cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the reservation. All other rentals (ie. non-pole fitness & series) require at least 72 hours of advance notice. MindBody will let you know if a booking is considered a ‘Late Cancel’. Early cancellations will be credited to your account for use at a later date without expiration. Any late cancellations will be forfeited, including those paid for by package credits.
What if my sexy pleather leggings take forever to put back on after a sweaty jam session, and I accidentally exceed my rental time?
We understand life happens, but you are expected to prepare for your departure in a timely manner. In the rare event you exceed your allotted time beyond our 10 minute grace period, you will be charged for that additional hour. Our 24hr security system is designed to monitor these situations. We kindly ask that you respect Haven as a shared community space, and understand how running over your time is inconsiderate and unfair to your fellow dancer who has reserved the time right after you.
I booked time to teach a class. Can I get to the space early and settle in before my students arrive?
Unlike normal dance studios, Haven’s business is built on a rental model. Clients are expected to pay for any time they use the space. If you anticipate the need for personal time before or after your class, please factor that into your reservation. As the renting instructor, you are also responsible for informing your students prior to class how to locate and enter the studio—details of which will be contained in your booking confirmation email.
I want to take advantage of Haven’s space without one or more poles. How do I make sure the pole(s) are removed before I get there?
All non-pole bookings should be reserved by contacting us directly so that we can manually remove the poles safely and correctly ahead of your desired rental time. We require at least 24 hours advanced notice for non-pole bookings.
Do you provide yoga mats?
For polers, Haven provides towels and alcohol spray bottles to keep our poles clean and grippy. We also have a crash mat to help you train as safely as possible. You will, however, need to bring your own yoga mat if needed.
My kids are tired of having their birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s. Can we throw it at your space?
Haven is for adults only (18yrs +), including those who are young at heart!
Awesome! So I’ve reserved my pole time online and received my confirmation email. Now what?
Visit our location! There is limited free parking in the alley directly in front of the building’s main entrance. Do not park within the adjacent gated lot. For instructors hosting classes of 4 or more, please advise your students to use the surrounding free street parking.
Enter the 5-digit code found in your confirmation email to open the front door. Once inside, take the stairs or elevator up to the 2nd floor, and find Suite 236. Enter the lockbox code (also found in your confirmation email) to access the key that opens the studio door.
Once you’re finished using the space, we ask that you put away any towels and spray bottles you may have used. Both windows should be shut and locked, and the lights and AC turned off. Please remember to place the key back into the lockbox before leaving. Lost keys will be charged a $40 fee.
Your booking confirmation email will include a link that details everything you need to know before visiting, including use of studio lighting and playing music.
